Celebrating a Decade of H-TEC

This year marks a special milestone for H-TEC: ten years as a proudly family-owned business, supporting fleets across the UK with reliable, independent compliance and safety technology.

It all began in 2016, when Gary took the reins of a small tachograph analysis bureau. What started as a modest operation has grown into one of the UK's leading connected fleet management providers, but the values behind the business have never changed. From day one, H-TEC's journey has been about people first: building genuine relationships with customers, supporting drivers and transport managers, and making a real difference to the businesses that keep the UK moving.

The same family spirit, carried forward

A few years ago, Emma took the helm from Gary, and since then has carried that same family ethos forward while driving fresh innovation across commercial compliance and safety.

"H-TEC has always been a family business at heart. My focus has always been on keeping that spirit alive while bringing fresh energy and innovation to fleet compliance and safety. As we mark ten years, I want to thank everyone who's made this journey possible. I can't wait to see what the next chapter brings."

Emma Burdett - Director, H-TEC

Gary reflects on the journey with pride:

"When I took over in 2016, we were a small team with a big ambition: to make fleet compliance simpler and safer for the businesses who rely on it. Watching that grow into the company H-TEC is today has been a privilege.”

Gary Burdett - Owner, H-TEC

Looking ahead

Over the next decade, H-TEC remains committed to delivering scalable, sustainable fleet technology solutions, from tachograph analysis to AI-powered driver safety systems, without ever losing sight of what got us here: our team, our customers, and our suppliers.

Here's to the next chapter of 10 Years. One Team. Your Fleet.
